I have lived at Mission Collin Creek for twenty months now. My experience here has had positives and negatives, but I have had a somewhat positive experience. The apartments are older and do not have the nicest amenities, but I find my apartment extremely cozy. My wife and I are considering extending our lease in the fall. The company I work for is just down the road so that's why I initially looked at Mission Collin Creek. Most people my age and married would likely not enjoy living here; however, my wife and I like it because it is budget friendly, near 75, provides immediate access to a running / biking trail, and for the most part, is quiet. Parking has been a big problem in the past but has improved in the last few months. Earlier this year, the apartment complex was under management that did not enforce some rather basic parking guidelines. Cars with flat tires sat in the same spots for 2 – 3 months at a time without moving as did trailers. To add to the lack of available parking, two new handicap signs went up to bring the total to three in the parking area. On several occasions, one resident who needed the handicap space would not park in one of the three available spaces. Instead, the resident would park in a regular space. On a Thursday night, I came home after 10:30 and there were no vacant parking spaces near my building. The spaces were full, about 50 in each direction away from my apartment. Rather than parking a distance from my apartment late at night, I parked in the handicap space. The resident’s car who did park in this particular handicap space was nowhere in sight. The next morning I woke to find my car had been towed. Only after the fact, I learned the apartment complex had hired a new towing company to monitor the lot. If the apartment complex had communicated this to residents at Mission Collin Creek, I would not have risked parking in the handicap space. I was out $200 for my mistake and upset with the apartment for not enforcing parking to those residents who had added to the problem months prior. Amenities. As stated earlier, the amenities are not new, but they get the job done. Maintenance has done a great job of helping out if we have a problem with the oven, fridge, dishwasher, disposal, etc. They did install a brand new dishwasher since the old one did not work. They have sharpened the blades on the disposal and maintained the air conditioning unit to help keep the apartment cool. The apartments with fireplaces are great, by the way. Social Scene. We haven’t experienced much of a social scene, and we are okay with that. We have other outlets that we can meet people, network, and spend time with friends. Location. My wife and I really like the location of Mission Collin Creek. We believe this is one of the great qualities of the complex. It is tucked away in a residential area near 75. We can be out of the apartment, in the car, and on 75 headed north or south in 3 minutes. Value. We feel that we receive good value from the apartment. Mandie, the current manager of the apartment complex has done a great job reaching out to residents, following up when you have a problem, spending the money to maintain the complex and provide upkeep. Things are improving and getting better as she continues to work here.

Hi John, I always hope to hear good reviews from our residents but it’s also helpful to know where we need to improve, so thank you for your review on the positives and negatives. Our towing company has and will continue to tow cars that are illegally parked in the handicap parking spaces and fire lanes. I will work on finding out where these spaces are needed most. We may be able to relocate the handicap spaces closer to the resident in need to avoid taking up other non handicap spaces. I understand your frustration with this problem and I am working to resolve this issue as soon as possible. You have been patience, kind, and understanding even when you car was towed. I wish you had not experienced that inconvenience. The amenities are always being looked at for improvements. The fitness center has two new treadmills and the spa was repaired several months ago and working great. The laundry rooms just went thought a total renovation with all new machines. We will be completing some more exterior upgrades to the siding and paint starting next week. It is our goal to keep improving the interiors and exteriors of the property. We know in order to maintain a good appearance that is a must. Thank you for your positive comments about our maintenance team and myself. We appreciate you and your wife and hope you both continue to enjoying living here at Mission Collin Creek. You are always welcome to stop by our office or call with any concerns. Sincerely, Mandie McClendon

I moved in in January 2010 and have not had any problems. I do agree that there are a lot of kids in the parking lots riding their scouters or skating. I love the office staff they always are able to help with any problem or issue I have. I was concern when I moved it that I would hear the neighbors but I do not hear any. Thanks for all your support and help.

I have lived here for the past 2 1/2 years with no complaints. The parking could be a little better, but overall they are decent. I haven't had too much problems out of neighbors here except for one cranky old lady downstairs. The inside of the apartments are decent. They could use some nice appliances, but overall it's livable. Very close to 75 which is helpful. There is no social scene here whatsoever, so if your a single 20 something, don't expect to make tons of friends here. I just go to work and come home anyways so I'm not looking for fulfillment here in that aspect. I will be moving to the sister property in Allen Gleneagles because they are a little cheaper but have nice apartments in and out. Hopefully that's not a huge mistake. I tried to transfer to a different one bedroom here that was downstairs and out of the afternoon sun to help save on electricity, but they would not let me. Their loss since i've never been late on rent and they have never had any problems out of me. Overalll not a bad complex if your just looking for something semi decent and centrally located.

Hi Jennifer, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Mission Collin Creek. I am glad you have enjoyed your time here. As far as the transfer on site we have certain polices that we review before any resident is transferred. I will look into this and see why you were not allowed to transfer. I would like to meet with you and see what we can do for you. You're right, it would be our loss to not have you here. You are welcome to stop by the office, call, or e-mail me any time. I have lived here for the past two years. The apartments could use some updating, they were built in the 80's I believe. Even with the needed updating, they are a great value. The area is quiet for the most part. My biggest complaint would be there are always children playing in the parking lot. A few of the neighbors seem a little rough, but I never feel unsafe. The management is very good about fixing maintence request. You can make your request online, which is very nice, and sometimes they are taken care of within a couple of ours. Overall, I have been very happy here.

Hi Tailor, I am so happy to hear you have had a good experience with our maintenance team. It is very rewarding to receive positive feedback from you about our team. I will make sure I share this with the maintenance staff. We are working on the exterior of the property now and will continue to make improvements. You are welcome to bring in any concerns or ideas you may have for improvements. Starting July 1st we will have a courtesy patrol to look after the property. They will be checking all common areas for disturbances. They are also on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Thank you for your review. I would not recommend these apartments to any one. every thing that they advertise on there web site and on the phone is a total LIE. They have 2 pools that are not opened, they say that you have 2 allotted parking spaces that you don't have and that they have courtesy officers that you will never see. A maintance request could take 7-14 days or longer to have completed. They do not have on-line payments. My list could go on and on.

We have lived here for almost 2 yrs, now and are extremely disappointed. they go through mantience men like water. it took 8 months to get a hole in the bathroom wall fixed that their mantience man put there. the pool was only opened one month last year and not at all this year and we are not paying for the pools at their other locations we are paying for the anemity of the pool here. we have to put in every month for our air conditioner to be recharged and we were told that their is a leak but still is not repaired correctly and it has taken a email request stopping at the office and calling them 8 days to come here and still not fixed. we have talked with management many times about what goes on around our building but it just gets worst.really feel like when we talk to them no one is really listening or cares unfortuantely we have been told by people in our building that we are not wanted here due to the fact that we have made complaints to office about the problems that go on around our building. so we have no choice but to move. the only good things is that it is in a very good location. I feel that the problems here are more than they can manage and that if they could get the problem under control this would be a great place to live.

Dear Sharonda, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Mission Madison Square. I would like to start by apologizing that we have fallen below your expectations during your residency. We strive to exceed our customer’s standards and are disappointed when that doesn’t happen. Upon reviewing your e-mail we thought it best to take another look at our website information. Everything appears accurate at this time but we will continue to monitor the information and make corrections as needed. The parking at the community is on a first come basis; assigned parking has never been offered due to the fairness of all residents. We are as disappointed as you regarding the late opening of the community pools. Due to the early May flooding in Nashville; several community pools were delayed. We have been actively working with the Metro Health Department to open as soon as possible and will notify all residents once they have given us the green light. Until then….our sister community pools are available for your use as mentioned in the resident correspondence that was distributed on each resident’s door. The Courtesy Officer(s) can be reached by phoning the office. They are willing to assist should the need arise. Otherwise; they are usually in attendance at the community social functions if you would like to meet them. We are happy to report that new Service team members have been hired and are working diligently to catch up on any request that is outstanding. If we have overlooked something; please don’t hesitate to let us know and we will make it a priority. Again, I apologize for the issues that you have been dissatisfied with at Mission Madison Square and know that we are here to turn the wrongs into rights if given the chance. We have discussed several of these issues already but if you would like further discussion; feel free to stop by the office. We appreciate your choice in making Mission Madison Square your home and will strive to regain your respect. Sincerely, Marla Robison Community Manager Mission Madison Square 615-868-2995

I have lived at Mission Bellevue Ridge for 5 years. I really like the apartments and they are definitely larger than most you see. The apartments are close of I40 and they are in a good location. Office staff is great. I do not think you could have better. Maintenance takes care of any problems and they always leave a note if they have been in your apartment letting you know what they did. The apartments are older but they are clean and very quiet at night. I feel very safe and have never known of any problems.

There have been a lot of changes, for the good, since I came to Mission Bellevue Ridge last summer. Newer management and office staff are completely competent and eager to assist. Maintenance is spread a little thin, but is efficient nonetheless. This is a good place to live if you are a student at Meharry, TSU, Vandy, or Fisk as its super close to I-40. The prices and deals are good for the budget. This is not the lap of luxury, but it is a clean, safe, generally quiet place to live. There is a good balance between families, students, and regular working people, so there is not too much noise, kids, or drama. I would, and have recommended this complex to others...

I have lived here for only a month now but overall I am happy. I agree with some others that the kitchens are small, poorly desgned and could use an update but my 1133sq ft 2 bedrrom 2 bath is nice. The porches are roomy and the pools are kept clean. People are very friendly including the office, and maintenance crew. Maintenance responds quickly and efficiently. The only minor flaws are the roads, and the gate need to be updated as well. Overall though It is nice and I would recommend Mission Brentwood to anyone.

The Good: I have lived at Mission Brentwood for a couple months now and for the most part am very satisfied. The office staff is friendly, attentive, and maintenance requests are handled quickly and professionaly. Neighbors are friendly and for the most part pretty quiet. The 715 sq ft 1 BR is spacious and a good value for the money. The location is average (a little too close to Nolensville for my liking) but 3 miles in the other direction will get you to many shops, stores, and restaurants at Nipper's Corner. The...Less Than Good: The kitchens are straight from 1988 and in drastic need of an update. The "post move-out makeover" done by maintenance appears to have been done hastily as I have paint spray-over on my cabinets and appliances. It appears they paint the counter-tops to keep them looking new/shiny but I find this very odd (and so do my visitors) and they will scratch very easily. If you are looking for a gated community, look somewhere else. The gates work 1 day out of the week at most and are usually open to the public all hours of the night. I have had property stolen off my back porch. Some of the roads/parking areas are in ill repair with several large potholes and are in drastic need of some work, and have been for at least as long as I've lived here. You either have to swerve around them or risk damaging your shocks/struts! Summary: A basic, get what you pay for apartment that is a good value with some nice amenities. I would recommend Mission Brentwood to just about anyone as long as they are OK with the "less than good" info mentioned above. I will continue to live here happily but will most likely invest the $$ for a newer, nicer place when my lease ends.

I've lived at Mission Brentwood for a few months now and have been pretty happy with my experience living here. There is nothing fancy about this place, but the neighbors are friendly (and quiet) and the office staff is always helpful and willing to assist with whatever I need. The apartments are older and the ones that haven't been remodeled yet, definitely show their age...but they are clean and I haven't had any problems with bugs, mold or mildew. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for an affordable home in Nashville.

Not a safe place to live, though they claim otherwise. Drug deals happen constantly, police drive through all the time but it doesn't stop them. They say you can call the office and report them but when you don't know your neighbors' names and, "medium height black male" fits the description of over half the tenants are they really going to do anything? Are they going to get out of bed at 1am and hurry over to possibly catch the tenants in the act? No they are not, and if they want to come on here and tell me otherwise, I expect a cellphone number to where they can be reached and I will start calling. Apartments are good sized, the fireplace is nice and the patio is large enough to entertain a couple of guests on. Problems with the apartment have been dealt with in good time for such a large complex. The dog park does not have a cleaning station and there is poop everywhere. Tennis court is in decent shape for something that is never used. There is no 3rd pool. Parking is fairly good, never had to walk very far to get to the apartment. Not a horrible place to live, really great for the price. I wish it was safer but I'm happy for what I'm paying.

Maintenence staff was nice when seen driving around the complex. However, when asked to complete something they half-complete, follow through with the job. We had black mold in our apartment in the window sills and they came to spray it with bleach. They did not bother to check if it was in the wood, the walls, nothing. Even after I had explained I was allergic to this and it was effecting my breathing. The area is very uncomfortable. There are always a group of people outside in the parking lot at night making lots of noise, standing in the road, reving car engines and such. There are also groups of people who come, park their vehicle in parking spots, and just sit in their car. It's not a safe neighborhood.

Good afternoon Celine! Thank you for taking the time to vocalize your experiences while residing in our community. We sincerely apologize for not thoroughly addressing your issues when the work was performed initially; this is certainly not our protocol for handling problems of this nature. According to our records, we had all areas treated (including the flooring under the carpet/pad and air ducts) by a licensed vendor. We were unaware of further issues once the service request was completed. Please feel free to contact the office if you need additional assistance with this matter. As for your concerns about the area, the safety and comfort of our residents is paramount. Unfortunately, the management is not on property after business hours to enforce quiet hours or illegal soliciting. We encourage you to contact the Police Department at 862-8600 if the problem persists after regular business hours, and if possible provide us with the apartment &/or license plate #'s of all culpable parties so we can address this with them directly. Once again, we regret that you had these experiences as a resident and would like to extend an invitation to stop by our office if we can be of further assistance to you. Thanks again for your feedback, and have a wonderful day! Cordially, Sarah Thompson Assistant Manager
