I lived in Mission Matthews Place for about nine months and never had any real problems. The only thing I didn't enjoy was having to park far away from my building or pay extra each month to reserve a spot. Neighbors can be noisy, but that's how apartment life is regardless of where you are. The office staff is always very friendly and helpful and maintenance staff responds to work requests very quickly (often within an hour of your request). Very nice workout room and racquetball court; the pool is nice but it always WAY too crowded (or closed). Overall, I enjoyed my time living here.

I am a current resident. I've been here for 1 year and have resigned my lease.
Pros- The location is good. It's close to shopping, entertainment, and the such. The price is excellent, but you get what you pay for.
Cons- Noise. You can expect noise to a certain extent, but I believe I have experienced the extreme. Amenities- there's one small pool. It's not nearly big enough for the number of residents in the complex. It's also dirty. The people that live here have no pride and leave their clothing and trash laying around. One child vomitted in the pool and the parent didn't even try to clean it up. There's one charcoal grill and a picnic table, but it's in the sun with no shade and no one uses it. There's one tiny play ground, but it's on the entire other side of the complex from where I live. The apartment- these apartments are no well maintained. There's water damage in the 3 different apartments I have lived in or visited. The baseboards have water damage, the doors and windows leak. It took me 6 months to get my dishwasher replaced. Maintenance is non-responsive and you have to nag them to get them to do anything.
All-in-all it's been an ok place to live and I couldn't find a cheaper place in a decent neighborhood. Enter at your own risk and be prepared to fight for anything you want.

Dear Christina K,
I’m so sorry to hear that you have had some not so good experiences with us here at Mission Harris Pavilion. I’m the new manager, Reagan Cerone, and one of my goals is to make your experiences with us go from “ok” to exceptional. We are in the process of acquiring a new maintenance tech for our team so we can address your issues in a timely manner. If you or any other apartment homes you visit in our community have maintenance issues, please contact me so we can address the situations and get whatever needs attention fixed. Feel free to call or stop by the office, my door is always open.
Again, thank you for your feedback, both positive and negative, and helping us get better!

The maintenance work is ABSOLUTELY horrible to the point of being non-existent. That and the lack of response about any concerns from the office staff is nerve wrecking, knowing the buildings are beginning to deteriorate. The water damage in the unit seems minimal at first but between the crumbling base boards that allow insects in and degrade the appearance of the apartment and the leaking ceiling I am not sure why these things along with other similar issues cannot be rectified. The prices and accessibility are the best in the area but without question the staff's inabilities (although they are extremely friendly), blaring train horns, and poor upkeep can be overwhelming.

Dear BBowditch,
I really appreciate the time you took to sit down and give us some feedback. I would like to introduce myself; my name is Reagan Cerone and I am the new property manager here at Mission Harris Pavilion. Without your feedback, I would not know what real issues our residents face on a daily basis. I would like to start off by apologizing for the poor maintenance upkeep in your apartment home. We are currently revamping our maintenance staff and I am working closely with our maintenance supervisor to ensure we are following Missions high standards of service. I would like to invite you to stop into the office so we can discuss any other concerns you may have or feel free to give me a call at 704.593.1440.
Thank you,
Reagan Cerone, CAM

I have lived here for 1 1/2 years, the maintenance is bad it took them 10 months to remove an old Dish that was on our patio when we moved in. The kitchen was a mess when we moved in the counter is warped from water damages and needs to be replaced, the front door was messed up and it took them 8 months to replace (because the doors are not standard size was their excuse). Mold developed in the 2nd bathroom and they fixed the issue causing the mold but the mold itself is still there I reported that 3 months ago. The drawer in the kitchen was broke when we moved in and still is not fixed, neighbors are loud and cannot follow rules, the apartment manager has done nothing to fix this, only certain apartments have assigned parking, everyone else has to find one sometimes all the way down the road. The pool is always closed last summer is was close more than 50 percent of the summer. The only thing that is nice is we got a new neighbor and our daughters are the same age so they play together, but the playground is not even near the family size apartments its over by the 1 bedroom apartments on the other side of the complex. Rather go to the park for that walk. The one manager that was here Robin was really nice, and she actually tried to get things fixed, she was moved to another property. The new manager, Kim, I have not had that much interaction with but she seems okay.
Well it seems that Kim is just the assistant manager, and the new manager Reagan just came it. After her response to our review, I went into the office and spoke with her, her and the maintenance manager came down to my apartment that same day and they fixed most of my problems that day, they have promised to replace the kitchen counters and the damaged tiles in the bathroom. So far the new management team is great. The pool is still closed for a month for a broken pump. That's kind of upsetting that that's not fixed yet. Yet another summer without the pool.
